Technical Sales

SDS seeks a confident outgoing person for our technical sales position. Candidates must posses a BS degree in Chemistry or the sciences. Ideal candidate should have sales experience and a certificate of training for 40 hour Hazwoper training. Candidates must be able to become familiar with technical terms, chemical names, and the industry's l treatment technologies for waste streams. The position requires overnight stays and significant travel. Responsibilities include the solicitation of SDS services to prospective clients and the on going maintenance of existing accounts. Environmental  Technician

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team and office management, demonstrate proficient writing skills, and have the ability to work both independently and as a part of a project team. Necessary computer skills include MS Word and MS Excel. Additional job requirements include 40-hour OHSA Health & Safety Training and First Aid/CPR training, as well as a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to operate company vehicles.

Remediation Technician

This position will require extensive travel. Position responsibilities include conducting soil and groundwater sampling, installation of soil/groundwater treatment systems, operation and maintenance of soil/groundwater systems, troubleshooting of non-functioning equipment, underground storage tank removal support, dewatering system support and other tasks as assigned. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is preferred but not required

EH&S Team Manager, CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager)

As a team manager you will:
· Provide management leadership to business operations with supervision of company’s largest Region.
· Manage and develop key customer accounts.
· Provide senior level technical and management EHS consulting in your areas of expertise to our customers.
· Provide technical management of key projects and staff.
· Own the team’s Annual Business Plan/Budget for the Region.
· Work cooperatively in meeting/exceeding Annual Plan (Profit, Revenue, Headcount/Recruitment).
This individual will make independent decisions on EHS problems, methods and development of innovative solutions. Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation and selection of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Will carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques.
The consultant may be required to work with or in an environment that contains chemicals or hazardous materials. May also be required to lift sampling or other analytical instrumentation up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications
Successful candidate will have a BS in a science-related field or business administration. Any of the following certifications or additional education is desirable:
· MBA
· Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)
· Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
· Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
· Registered Professional Engineer (PE)

Seven to ten years of experience in one of the following areas is needed:
· Environmental services (regulatory compliance and strategic management);
· Industrial hygiene;
· Safety engineering/management;
· Product Safety in the biotech or semiconductor industries
